Pamela Andersons Online Poker Site Folds

Only four months after deciding to capitalize on the poker craze sweeping the United States, Pamela Anderson finally had to lay her cards down and admit that starting her own online poker site had been a big mistake.

The "Baywatch" babe and blonde bombshell icon started her online poker website PamelaPoker.com back in July. She wrote in her personal website's (pamelaanderson.com) online diary that she no longer had the intention to get involved with PamelaPoker.com, and that it should have been shelved a month ago.

Anderson, who reportedly suffered a miscarriage during a shoot in Canada, likewise admitted that she was glad for the closure of the site.

"Poker site should have been shut down last month. I have nothing to do with it anymore. Too many shady areas ... I made a mistake getting involved in something I know nothing about for a quick buck! Yuck. So unlike me. Glad it's over," she was quoted as saying.

Anderson's statements came three days after she placed the blame on legal red tape in the US.

"Too bad my poker site fell apart--too many rules in USA. No fun," she had previously stated.
