Pai Gow Rankings

The hand rankings used in Pai Gow poker are the same as in other poker variations, only there are a few differences between them. The exception is the five aces, which consists of five Aces and a Joker and is the highest possible hand in Pai Gow. The ranking of Pai Gow poker, from highest to lowest are follows. First there are five Aces. This is the highest card ranking in the game, hence it is also the rarest. Next we have the Royal flush, followed by the straight flush. Next we have the four of a kind, full house, straight five, three of a kind and two of a kind.

It is very important that you know how to play the game well before you begin to play it in the online casinos or the land based casinos for money. While these are the basic rules, there is still the element of practice involved. Beginners should never bet money on a game that they do not know fully how to play.
